It seems that every time I write a new chapter of Monster Hunter: Equestria, I discover that the chapter actually logically breaks down into two chapters, and end up splitting them along these logical breaks. chapter 1 became 1 & 2, chapter 3 became 3 & 4, and now chapter 5 is about to become 5 & 6. It's kinda like implementing proper function modularity in C++: Each chapter should be focused on moving the plot one point forward (i.e. try to have as few "and"s in your chapter description

I've just been having so much trouble writing Horizon and his perspective... and I've also been prepping for the actuarial probability exam (which I failed, again), applying for colleges (which I've gotten into at least one of), and just generally being lazy when I wasn't doing those things.

I'm leaving home tomorrow to turn my associate's degree into a bachelor's degree at BYU Idaho. For reasons I do not fully understand, their honor code forbids beards. Mustaches are fine, apparently, but they kinda look really dumb on me. Whatever the case, It's a sacrifice I'm willing to make so that I can attend school there.
